TikTok? I start talking about to my friends and I will immediately hear sighs of frustration. “It’s for teenagers!” “You’re too old for that!” “I don’t have enough time in the day for this.”
Well, guess what? I DO have enough time for it! I only started using TikTok properly less than two months ago and it has turned out to be one of the best things I could have done. It is a platform full of fun and creative types and if you like dance music, there is plenty there to entertain you whilst so many of our events have been shut down.I am a creative person. In my normal everyday life before coronavirus, I would be heading all over the UK and Europe most weekends to attend dance music events and festivals. Lockdown has really taken its toll on so many of us, me included. As the winter lockdown hit the UK, I found myself going down a downward spiral. I so badly wanted to be able to feel like myself again.On TikTok, there truly is a space for people to have fun and inspire others.
