Why We Are Super Excited for The ASOT Top 1000 countdown?

It is an exciting week for trance music lovers from all over the world. Armin Van Buuren is celebrating his 1000th episode of A State Of Trance and in the process counting us down with the top 1000 trance tunes of all time, voted by the public. 

ASOT 950 was one of the last events that we were able to attend before the pandemic and we are both incredibly grateful to have been there. A state of trance festival is in a league of its own having over 35,000 trance lovers from more than 100 countries united together to celebrate this incredible music. Immediately when you walk into the Jaabeurs you are blown away by the sheer scale of the festival. If you are going with a group, stick with them as you won’t see them again till the night is over. 

You have the choice of 5 stages, We spent most of our time in Who’s Afraid Of 138, enjoying the harder styles but the Psy stage made it difficult to choose where to land your feet. The production across all stages seems to get bigger and better each year, the sound system is the best you will ever hear and every other detail is created for you to have the best night of your life. 

Last year we were impressed by the likes of Key4050, Simon Patterson, and Ben Gold to name a few. Armin always books the most talented and current artists across the trance scene.

Armin said that the celebration event will be hosted at the back end of this year so lets hope that we can dance again very soon.
