Iron is an essential nutrient for the body and also one of the most common nutrient deficiencies in the world. It is used to transport oxygen in the blood stream and if you are deficient it can lead to anemia and weakness.
This is another nutrient that is commonly associated with being available primarily in meat but in fact is very available in vegetarian and vegan foods.
