Renewable Energy vs Fossil Fuels

Fossil Fuels have long been a global problem still ignored today. Fossil fuels are an outdated and dirty form of energy which we all innocently and blindly use without thinking of the repercussions. Examples of this are in jet fuel powered planes, petrol and diesel vehicles instead of using all electric vehicles, bonfires, fracking. These are things that we all use for every day and convenience it isn’t just big companies seeking profit. We can all do more on an individual level.Fossil fuels are widely considered by environmentalists as humanities biggest mistake. When typically considering fossil fuels, it is the case that these emit far greater CO2 than renewable energy. Renewable energy effectively emits zero, which is where we need to be at in order to sustain our on this .In our favour we can now recognise that the issue of global warming is now one of hottest most highlighted and controversial issues of our lifetime. Even most governments are recognising the issue however are slow to react or even do anything to immediately enforce drastic measure to keep our planets temperature below a two degree increase.Taking the UK for example, the Prime Minister at the Theresa May committed in to legislation that the UK will be zero net emissions by 2050. This is by far too late we need this to happen by 2030 in order to prevent the irreversible chain of that will follow should our increase in temperature by more than two degrees. It will effect every aspect of our lives and we will struggle for in necessities such as crops and habitable temperatures particularly in hotter climates which then major human displacement.
