How to be Innovative – Day 5 – Behaviours That Compensate

  • What compensating behaviours do individuals use to cut corners so to speak or cover inadequate they currently use?

Take a look at these.

The Goal for the first seven days of this guide to innovation is to find a high- innovation opportunity.

It is important to first take a look at the around you and step into the shoes of your target customers.

  • Find out how they get their done. Is this a particularly messy process for them? There is an old saying ''there's no point flogging a dead horse'' and this is very true.

Be cautious of this.

  • If their solution is already working for them then it is to look elsewhere.

To aid in this process, regular round table meetings between yourself and your co-peer/colleagues would be a good idea. Discuss what it is your forces your customers to follow.

  • What is it they need and rely upon most?
