How To Be Innovative- Day 17- Success Reversal.
We ask ourselves here how do we identify critical assertions? The answer to this is we need to determine what success looks like. Is it a value? profit? market share? how do you personally identify success? Once you have determined this, identify the two most critical things that would have otherwise had to happen for success to be within reach.
The easy part is imagining success the difficult part is achieving it. Sometimes we feel frozen and unsure of where to go next with our innovations and to seek actionable next steps. In order to start your journey, you must always remember that the impossible is always possible. In addition to this remember that this must be consistent thought not one time. Always assess the things that you already know and don’t know. Maintain focus on the most important things at the time and always evaluate in terms of importance. How do we do this?Look at something you did that didn’t work out quite the way you had hoped for. What assumption was it you made that turned out to be false.Talk to friends who are looking to or already have started out on their own business ventures.Work with them to identify two critical questions to both ask yourselves.Do the same thing on something you are working on and pay particular attention to what works for them and implement similar or the same strategy.Write down two questions you would be worried about if you were the CEO
