Is there such a thing as too good? or too perfect? From an innovation perspective the answer is yes of course it is possible to go above and beyond what you initially set out to do for your customers. You would do this by introducing new features that customers will happily take, but not always necessarily good enough value for them to pay for.To avoid this, run a well thought through and well practised and reputable test to identify what the results would be if you or the market leader cut features by 20 percent and prices by 80 percent.From these results you should then look at improvements that would be considered exciting for the developers and design engineers, but would be completely useless to you.
